It could be like Desperate Housewives or Passions but tell Bible stories. The bible has a lotta juicy little bits of gossipy type stuff in it. Do you think it would work?

It actually may work. Soap operas are a pretty conservative genre, even the occasional gay story gets passed off as a "mother/daughter story" or whatever so it doesn't offend too many people. I think you have a good idea.

Have u watch lost? it is somehow related, well in a way.
bible based and soap opera don't even belong in the same sentence.
But, it would be interesting to see if they could pull off a serial drama that is biblically based.
