Evangeline (Evangeline Williamson, OLTL) b/c it means bringer of good news which has a little Christian heritage to it, the word angel is perfect for describing an innocent cute baby girl, its unique, the calm sense it gives when saying the name and the positive role model the name attributes to especially as an African-American. I'm thinking about naming my daughter (if the Lord blesses me with one) with the first name Evangeline if it suits her beauty.

My cousin named her daughter after her favorite soap opera character (she's now 17) her name is Crystal Chappell. Crystal Chappell was a character on One Live to Live years ago.
I think Greenlee (AMC) is a cute name. I named my daughter Hailey after Hayley (Kelly Ripa) from AMC.

I like the name Skye, but not because of Skye Quartermaine (GH), I just love the name. If I was going to name my daughter after a favorite soap character I would her after Samantha McCall but there is already a Samantha in my family, so I won't be doing that.

A friend of mine who is 40ish, just got divorced. Her name is Victoria. Instead of going back to her maiden name, she chose to change her name to Newman.

True story. I thought it was quite odd myself, but too each his own. She said that she always liked Victoria Newman on Young and the Restless. That is now her legal name.

I always liked the name Kendall, for some reason, from AMC.

From GH, I like the names Laura, Elizabeth, Maxie, Claudia, Felicia, Alexis, Diane, and (even though the character is pure evil) Helena. I know Cameron is a boys name on the show, but I think that could be pretty for a girl too.
